After hearing that Gotye song for about the 10,000th time, the 5th time that day alone, I have developed some burning questions. By “burning” I mean, “things that are going to bug the shit out of me until I figure them out.”

1. Do I even need to take the time to type out the title of that song? Seriously, all anyone as to say is “that Gotye song,” and people are immediately all “OMFG I LOVE THAT SONG IT’S MY FAVORITE SONG EVER.”

2. Is it possible to “used” to know someone? Once you exchange the knowledge of oneself with another person, don’t you at least know of that person pretty much for good? I mean, your relationship can change, you stop being friends with someone, you could become enemies, or lovers, but by that point, there is no not-knowing that person. Believe me, if there was a way to “un-know” my ex-boyfriends, I would have figured it out, and that song would make total sense to me.

3. If I hear that song one more time, I am going to rip out my car radio and throw it out of the window while driving down the freeway going at least 70 mph. That’s not a question, I just wanted to get that out there.

The radio is my eternal nemesis. This is the same reason I will never like Adele. I hated that one stupid song about rolling somewhere emotional and soulfully or whatever because they played it every 3 freakin songs. That and I don’t think she’s that great.
